不锈钢法兰在管道施工工程项目中比较常见，强度高，性能稳定，不易腐蚀，耐用性较强。常见标准有：
国标：GB/T9112-2000（GB9113·1-2000～GB9123•4-2000）
化工部标准：HG5010-52～HG5028-58、HGJ44-91～HGJ65-91、HG20592-97系列、HG20615-97系列
机械部标准：JB81-59～JB86-59、JB/T79-94～JB/T86-94、JB/T74-1994
压力容器标准：JB1157-82～JB1160-82、JB4700-2000～JB4707-2000
不锈钢法兰并不一定要用不锈钢螺栓，选用不锈钢螺栓是为了便于拆卸（碳钢的易生锈），在某些不能动火或其他特殊场合也可以选用；螺栓的材质和法兰的材质无关，欧洲体系按照HG20613-97《钢制管法兰用紧固件(欧洲体系)》HG20614-97《钢制管法兰垫片 紧固件选用(欧洲体系)》，美洲体系按照HG20634-97《钢制管法兰用紧固件(美洲体系)》HG20635-97《钢制管法兰垫片 紧固件选用(美洲体系)》选用，碳钢、不锈钢法兰通常选用专用级35CrMoA就可以满足要求。采用碳钢螺栓也不一定需要加上绝缘垫片和套桶，加上绝缘垫片和套桶只是用于有可能带电的或管道内流体是易燃易爆的场合，这种场合选用不锈钢螺栓也要加上绝缘垫片和套桶。
